Signal S500 Controllers and metering pumps

A range of electronic controllers developed by chemical metering pump specialist, Signal Pumps. Designed expressly to provide advanced electronic control of chemical dosing for the water treatment, wastewater and process industries, their many options include remote monitoring and control from a mobile phone or laptop computer.

Used in conjunction with Signal's range of dosing pumps, these new controllers provide a compact, wall or alternatively panel-mounted system that completes the loop, giving an integrated controller and pump package.

There is a choice of models in the Signal range of controllers, giving various progressions of control options. In terms of sophistication, they cover a range of needs from single function to multi parameter control. All data is graphically presented on the controller's display panel in clear alphanumeric form.

The system controls the set dosing levels, with adjustable hysteresis and alarm set points, with both a minimum/maximum alarm window and a time delay function for each set point, enabling the system to function after a prescribed time delay of up to 255 seconds.

Among other features offered is unique password access, effectively giving the user the power to lock the system, preventing unauthorised tampering. Another feature offered by Signal is the option of remote control via a mobile telephone or laptop computer.
