Gee scores 100% quality assessment with Achilles Verify

Signal Metering Pumps' parent - Gee & Company - has achieved category B2 registration under the Achilles Verify assessment scheme, scoring a maximum 100% quality evaluation for both its management systems and onsite assessments - both figures significantly above the industry average.

The Achilles UVDB database serves as a reference throughout the utilities sector, with its Verify scheme used to assess supplier performance within the critical functions of health, safety, environment and quality.

Matt Colling, Utilities Sector Manager at Achilles, acknowledges the level of improvement, "To achieve a maximum score in both these area demonstrates not only the high standards that Gee have set themselves, but also their commitment to improvement" he says.

Comments Rob Lissner of Gee & Company, "The high markings are a reflection of the substantial performance improvements that we have made. For example, assessment under management systems - which includes design, project management and site management - shows that Gee recorded an improvement from 83.3% to the maximum 100%. Comparative figures for on site and manufacturing facilities show an even greater quality improvement - rising from 80% to 100%. We have substantially increased our capability under every one of the assessed criteria ", he concludes.

Gee & Company designs and manufactures chemical dosing plant and systems that are widely used for the treatment of water and waste streams in the utility and power generation sectors. The company engineers and supplies bespoke systems for the treatment of industrial wastewater and effluents, as well as designing and producing thermoplastic chemical storage tanks and scrubbers.
