New addition for 2011 to our S100 series range with pumps designed specifically for use with Sodium Hypochlorite - September, 2011 : Our S100 series pumps now have a new addition of the CLPZ pump designed specifically for use in the swimming pool industry pumping Sodium Hypochlorite. The passage of the liquid through the pump head has been limited to a bare minimum to prevent entry and build up of air that will lead to gas lock. The CL series is equipped as standard with an air release valve that can simply and safely release any trapped air with a simple light turn. The anti-siphon valve supplied with the pump has also been re-designed with Sodium Hypochlorite in mind.Pumps are available with capacities up to 6 litres per hour at 4 bar back pressure. |

Gee further improves its UVDB assessment - 19th March, 2009 : Further improvements to its working practice rating under the UVDB Verify assessment scheme has been recorded by Signal’s parent company, chemical dosing equipment and thermoplastic tank supplier Gee & Company. Combined 50,000 service hours from lime dosing pumps - A story of unusual service longevity of lime dosing pumps has emerged from South West Water's Restormel Water Treatment Works, located near Lostwithiel in Cornwall. Signal metering pumping cuts cost of dye dispensing to engine manufacturing plant
- The use of fluorescent dye penetrant and UV lamp flaw detection is not new technology to ensure the integrity of engine block castings following manufacture. It is used at Ford Motor Company's engine division at Dagenham, where the issue was that the dye is so sensitive that even a trace of it in the wrong place was causing costly and needless rectification.
