Chemical storage tanks
Signal's parent, Gee & Company, manufactures most of its own thermoplastic tankage for storing chemicals, a philosophy that is driven by the safety-critical criteria of storing corrosive or toxic chemicals. According to the nature of the chemical, a range of construction materials is used, including polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC and PVDF.
One of the primary design methods uses composite construction. A welded thermoplastic inner shell provides the chemical resistance, whilst a GRP/polyester provides an outer skin, giving the tank its structural strength.
Tank and pump sets

Signal markets a range of pump and tank sets. Effectively, these are complete single-sourced chemical delivery systems that can be bunded if required. They are pre-engineered and pre-tested systems that are offered in a range of tank sizes up to 4,500 litres capacity - though larger sets can also be engineered.
They are delivered to site ready to install, complete with matched pipes and valves - truly a plug-and-play system solution.
